Your Will is Best for Me Loving Father whose mercy and grace is always sufficient for me, thank you that I am still able to come before your throne to seek you and to worship you. You are my creator and benefactor. Although I am not worthy, you have saved me and given me the right to be your child. I am not fit even to be your servant, but you have elevated me to be your friend and even as co-heir with my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Teach me to be obedient to your will. Remind me again that nothing will befall me if you do not permit so. Even as I find it hard to know your will and understand your ways, it is sufficient that your will is best for me. I do not know and may never know your entire plan. But it is enough that You are my God and my saviour. Thank you Lord for reminding me to trust in you and not to lean on my own understanding. Help me to hold fast to your promises even as I ask for your special healing touch on my body and my soul. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8-9
As I read Your word… Lord God, my merciful Father, as I come and lay my burdens at your feet, I pray that you extend your loving hands over me. Strengthen me as I go through this darkness before me. You know how I’m weighed down by sickness and pain. Teach me to accept your will which must be good for me. Lord, give me the courage to live day by day because I believe you will restore me in your own way according to your will. As I read your word and spend time talking and listening to you, help me to recognize your voice. Help me to keep still. Calm my soul and lift my spirit to adore you. Thank you for all the help and care you have provided for my needs Lord. Thank you for blessing me through the people who look after me. Thank you for those who intercede for me. Help me not forget to ask for your blessings on them in return. Thank you for giving me life and strength to commune with you my Lord and saviour. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen. Your grace is sufficient Merciful Father, as I lift up my soul to you, teach me to trust only in you. As I surrender myself to you, show me your ways and guide me in your truth. Restore my faith in you, Lord. I know nothing will befall me if you do not permit so. Remind me that your grace is always sufficient for me as the future unfolds. Lord, help me to listen carefully and to recognize your voice as I bow before your presence. Strengthen me. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
