My Creator and Saviour…Thank You for Peace that Surpasses Understanding God my Creator and Saviour, accept my praise and thanksgiving for all you have done for me and those I love. In particular, I thank you for the peace in my heart that truly surpasses human understanding. I know what marvelous works you have performed in my life especially since my illness. Help me not to forget your great mercies and grace. Give me the courage to tell of your good works and in so doing to remind myself of your favour, kindness and love no matter where I may be. As my body is being restored, I lift up my spirit to you to seek your will. Show me your path that my days will be spent in serving you according to your ways. Teach me to use whatever time you are giving me to be what you want me to be, and do what you want me to do for others in need, for the sake of your name. I pray through my Lord and Saviour, Amen. “Because he loves,” says the Lord, “ I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16
Thank you for being my refuge and strength O God, I thank you for granting me forgiveness of my words, thoughts and actions that have hurt you. I am grateful that you continue to love me despite my sins. I am comforted by your presence in my life and because of that I feel safe and joy. My soul is at peace because I am able to rest in you. May this peace remain with me and those I love. Although I do not deserve your favour, I deeply believe you will rescue me, protect me, answer me, will be with me in trouble, deliver me, honour me, satisfy me with long life and assure me of your salvation. Help me to love you and to obey you Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus for being my refuge and my strength. With peace and joy in my heart, I pray in the name of my Saviour, Amen. If the Lord delights in a man’s ways, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23
Thank you for washing me clean & healing all my diseases Compassionate and gracious Father God, I praise you in soul and spirit. I thank you for washing me clean from my sinful ways through the blood of my Lord Jesus. I also thank you for healing all my diseases. Despite my unworthiness, you have sent your angels to protect me and keep me from harm. You have granted me joy and peace even when my body is weak. I am grateful Lord. As long as I can communicate with you Lord, teach me to listen to your voice and your messages for me. Help me to remember my brothers, sisters and friends who are broken and are in need of healing either bodily, mentally, emotionally or spiritually. Grant them the faith to entrust themselves to your mercy and will. Give them the peace and joy that can be found only in you. In Jesus’ name I ask, Amen. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love endures forever. Psalm 118:1
