Lord, I’m confused… Father God, you know what a terrible time I am going through. The doctors are suspecting that something is wrong with me. I fear for the worst. They may find everything o.k., or perhaps not? I may be early and the disease can be controlled? It may be life threatening or perhaps not? I may have been walking around like a time bomb without realizing my own condition? I’m confused. I cannot think straight. Actually, I do not know. But Lord Jesus, I know I need you. I need you to lead me because you know. Please forgive me for running to you like this, at such a crucial time of my life. Forgive me for my unfaithfulness and not walking as closely with you as I should. As I remember my sins, which I now confess……, I pray Father God that you will forgive me through the blood of my Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for listening to my plea for forgiveness and my prayer for calm in my heart. You are my only source of certainty. Remove my anxiety dear Lord. I know you will because I ask in the name of my Lord Jesus. Amen. God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. The waiting is difficult… God my Father in heaven, I thank you for allowing me to come to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. You know everything and you know my present state of mind and health. While I try to understand what is happening to my body and the procedures that I need for tests and treatments, no one can share the anxious moments and days that I am now facing except you. I really do not know what to expect. The test results seem to take forever and time is passing very slowly. The waiting is difficult because…… what if I’m really inflicted with a horrible disease and tested positive? I dare not think further. I can only be reminded that nothing can separate me from your great love. Thank you Lord. In the midst of my restlessness, I can only place my trust and hope in you. I am grateful for the sacrificial love of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. By faith, I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and saviour. Please forgive my sins as I seek you God. I am humbled by your patience with me. Thank you for giving me the right to be your child. Father, as your child I ask for your mercy. Please give me strength in all circumstances. Thank you as I pray in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen. Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel. Philippians 4:6-7
In your mercy, give me your peace Lord Jesus, you know the discomforts I have been having recently. You know the kinds of tests I have been receiving. I have been going here and there trying to find out what is the matter with me. I know I must be patient. But till now, I am still waiting for results and confirmation of the source of my problems. You know how agitated I am. I cannot do anything but to depend on you O God. You are my rock and salvation. You are my creator and you know every part of me. When I think like this, I humbly ask that you forgive my sins, all known and unknown, all confessed and unconfessed. Please do not let sin keep me away from you. I pray you will take me out of these uncertainties about my health. In your mercy, give me your peace, as I seek your forgiveness. Thank you Lord Jesus for hearing my pray and accepting my re-commitment to follow you. Amen. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23: 4
